I'm new here and just wondered who everyone is, and what you do!

I'm Ally, 21 year old student, trying to turn a dales x cob into a showing/dressage.jumping extraordinaire! :D
 
I have a cob, a mini and about to get another shetty and i am in my late 40's and by tring to be helpful i always end up putting my foot ini it, welcome

I'm Harriet, I'm 25 and doing a PhD in materials science. I have Barry, a 16.1hh 9y/o tb who thinks he's a beach donkey most of the time :) I've had him 3 and a half months.
 
hello Ally! I am Caroline, 50 years old :) and have Roo and Xas (recent pictures on here) and Harry who is really my daughter's horse. Welcome and look forward to hearing of your adventures! :)
 
I am Theresa, 40 years old. I have Dolly, 20 year coloured traditional cob, 15'3, although she is kept feathers off and hogged as she does suffer with mites, and her white bit of mane doesn't grow, the black does, and she looks stupid with half a mane. Also have Mac, a 16 year old Suffolk punch cross, who is arthritic in his hind legs, but enjoys his hacking and taking friends kiddies for pony rides. Looks funny as he is 16.1, but he loves it. He is also hogged as suffers mild sweet itch and rubs his mane out. Last but not least, little Ollie. Just about 15hh, strawberry roan Heinz 57 with we think a fair amount of New Forest in him. He is 5 and naughty in a cheeky way. Am only a happy hacker myself, but hoping to do some low level dressage with Ollie, as he seems to enjoy it.
 
Hi I'm lynn, 39 working as IT project manager. I have 1 horse - Scarlet, 15'1 chestnut mare Anglo Arab. 19 years young and was in great health until a month ago where she had to have an op to get a bone removed from her head which has caused facial paralysis. Thankfully she seems to be recovering ok but it's a slow road of recovery for the paralysis so not riding at the moment and for a while longer to come! :-(
 
Hey Ally! I'm Natalya, I'm 18 and I'm a student.
I have a 10yo 15.1hh Ardennes who's a jumping and showing machine, (dressage will come, I'm determined!!!) he's not everyone's cup of tea, as he has his quirks but I love my fatty!
And I have a 9yo 14.2hh section d X, who I'm bring back into work, hopefull allrounder :D xx
 
Hello ally! I am ami and I am 27 and live in south east London. I am a photographer/nanny. I have two horses dizzy my 16.2 bright bay 4yr old TB who always breaks and we are trying to fix her but its been a year and I think a big decision is due :( I also have saffy super pony who is a dark bay 14.2 7yr old welsh d who is amazing at everything and solid as a rock, she is doing her first dressage test tomorrow. Welcome to HHO!
 
Im Toni :) also 21, ride racehorses round Newmarket, have a 15.2 bay TB mare called Ethel, shes 6 and I'm determined to get her to a BE80 one day!

Hi Ally, I'm Ruth and I'm 31. Live in the North West and work for the local Councils domestic violence team. I have a 15.1hh Anglo Arab X, 14 year old mare called Chloe, we do mainly but dressage but venturing out into show jumping which we both love! My OH has a 6 year old reg Sec A ISH called Amber, she's a real sweetie and proving she can turn her hoof both to dressage and jumping :)

Hi, I'm Laura, 30, working in a tack shop while trying to find a job that uses my PhD in avian behavioral ecology... might be there for a while! Long time rider, new owner - got my lovely boy Eggs just over 2 months ago. He's a 7 year old, 17h sports horse. We are still getting to know each other! I'm planning to do a bit of everything with him, but mainly focusing dressage.
 
Hi, I'm Sian, 19, I am a baker/ cake maker. I own a quirky 15.1hh, 9yo Andalusian stallion called Rio who does dressage and a 17.2hh, 12yo ISH gelding called Taz who is an all rounder/ field ornament but has done dressage, showjumping and XC!
 
Hello,I'm Nichola ,39 and im a medical laboratory assistant.Bought the 1st horse I'd sat on in 15 years. 15.3 TB 7 yrs old mare who was pretty feral but 16 months later we have just done our 1st dressage ( intro a and b ) and got 64% and 65% so slowly getting there together. Lots of great people and advice on here welcome xxx

have 3 nags. 28yr old mare, 3yr old geldng, both connie x tb (but polar opposites) and JJ the mini Shetland, who's scared of life, who wont be caught but despite that I love him more than chips (which are my fav food)

kaiser 3 year old chestnut gelding 16/1 ish idxtb (missie foal) absoulte dude being broke at present
arthur 4 yr old connemara who is a cheeky ****** but love him lol
 
Hi :) I'm also new(ish) an have found the h&h forums very helpful! I'm 23 and I work for HMRC (yes those nasty people who take eveyones money) ;) I have a ISH - TBxID only had her afew month so still getting to know her. Previously I've had a TB and a coloured cob...enjoy!

I'm Juliette, 39. I have a 9 year old polish warmblood called Smudge. We have so far done a bit of dressage and sj, and we are working towards Xc as I would like to do some little one day events.
 
I'm Vic , I'm a GP who works for the ministry of justice -- it's complicated.

I have 4 equines (15.1 trad cob, sec a -and 2 Shetlands ) and am currently on the search for a large Dutch or German WB ... And I'm addicted to dressage to the point that I gave up showing my beautiful cob to teach him dressage - yes I am mad...
