Well found an old keyboard with a usb thingy (normal one has round thingy which wouldnt work), so im back.
I know its a crap photo, but what do you think of the shape of this horse (not Max, other one)? Photo was a month ago, hes 4 tomorrow, jan foal. Approx 16.2hh, full tb.

We bred this one. Brought the mare in foal, kept the foal, put her to a stallion that became 'hot' within the next six months,then sold her for double the money. So he was essentially a free horse.
Debating on whether to keep him or not. He gives a great feel under saddle, but is going to be a late maturer. Cant really justify keeping a horse that isnt going to earn anything for a couple of years, when hes probs worth £15k at the mo.

I would sell! But I would only say about £1500! I have a spare stable if he's in the way

I think purely from the value point of view sell him now. In two years time he could have hurt himself, gone lame, you name it, whereas with 15k you can buy a lot of good youngsters to make profit on.
He is a rather nice horse, though, not many have that "Look of Eagles" about them, he knows he's nice doesn't he!

Hes known as 'Novice Chaser', has been since a foal. Hes not the easiest horse (never got near the hind legs yet) but very intelligent. Within a week of starting him he would canter figure of 8's on the long reins to a simple 'left' or 'right'. Never so much as swished his tail during backing. Sadly he is my dads, so money would go towards something daft like tax! Although am trying for a menage - cant go through another winter like this!
