It was very funny I will give him that, I chuckled most of the way through:D he basically mildly took the P out of the way we humanise our dogs (or atleast his interprutation of the Americans) but of course we do it here, it was not much more than he says in his Tv shows, but would be good for those who have not seen them before.....I still doubt that people will take any god damn notice even seeing and hearing him that close up:rolleyes:
He used a few rescue dogs from a local rescue here for demonstrations, very basic, jsut showing owner reaction, handling and results of weak leadership.
There was an embarrasing dancing with a dog bit(some young girl) that stuff makes me cringe, but he dog was obs clever.
So it was basic but definately for me worth a see, the little ode to Daddy had tears rolling down my face:(

The Southpark take the pee was hilarious:D
Hope you enjoy CC and MM

Oh bless him...he gave an interview to an Irish reporter just before Daddy died and he actually had to put the phone down in tears because the dog wasn't doing so well and he couldn't talk about it :(

Only three days to go for me, can't wait. Haha, wonder what sort of rescues he will be working with over here, will be a pit looky-likey or, of course, a greyhound, hahahaha.

Ah.....bless, it was really sad though, im glad the place was dark, I was streaming:eek:

Their was a colli x, retriever, rotti and a little shagy x breed on ours, and someone brought a little shih-tzu on stage that had some issues.

I do love him and I still "hail cesar"

Was it a large crowd? Did he take questions from the audience and that sort of thing?

The Daddy tribute would have made me blub, too.

And, ahem, Stella wants to know exactly what is wrong with canine dancing? It is her only key talent, ya know :D

Lol....he took a few volunters from the audience, they where only up a few seconds it was funny, he was jsut taking the P out of handling skills when he pretended to be an excited dog and a calm dog.
No audience questions, he was doing one on one with people either before or after I sumbmise, and it cost a lot.
We had really good seats at the front, some of the ladies where acting like they where on heat:D around him....lol
I don't mind the dog dancing, it's the human that makes me cringe, dithering about arounf them:D

Just replied to your pm

Sounds like you had some different things to when I went. we only had 1 Audience participation moment. Mind you we had Mary ray do the Heelwork to Music demo. She is good.

Thought you'd left for good???????

Heard some good things from a friend that went, made the decision not to go as the meet and greet session was expensive, but my friend shelled out for the session (it was a little short). He was asked directly about his critics and simply said in the modest manner you would expect from him that his is not the only method out there, but he knows that his method works and that is the message he is here to spread and he would not be drawn to fire back.

I just cannot see where the critics are coming from and I am disgusted with certain rescue societies for joining that bandwagon, most of Cesar's adjusted pack would simply have had a glove on a pole shoved at them and then been put down by them!!! Those that have slagged him off will get not a penny from me from now on!

The bit I was interested in is that he is planning on opening a centre in the UK, can't wait for that one!!

I'd got it in my head you were going to Manchester like me Cayla, was there more than one night there? Like you I found it very funny, lots of basic good sense but was a bit disappointed I didn't really learn anything. There were a couple of very brief examples of weak handlers (both with boxers funnily enough) and again a rather cringe worthy collie playing football, they said it was unique cos it used its paws to push the ball, well Evie uses her blooming paws and I'm sure she and this collie aren't the only one. The tribute to Daddy was very touching, particular emotional for one of our group who is facing having her neo mastiff put down due to bone cancer any day .
What did surprise me was the amount of screaming women in the crowd, it was like being at a pop concert.:D

i went to see Cesar at wembley and could nt believe the screaming and whooping before he came on. i felt very british and reserved as i just clapped..however it was a good evening, he is a great showman and very passionate about his beliefs and i think he talks a lot of sense.

i am new to the forum and have been reading posts with interest. i am with the lurcher, collie lot. i have a whippet/bearded collie/bedlington cross and a border collie/lab cross(although i think she has a bit of springer as well). i love seeing all of your pics and will try and work out how to upload mine.

I went to Newcastle MM:D thats where I live near, I think for fans it was just a chance to see the man himself, which I appreciate, he is a well nice person, very passionate but the show was very basic, then again I doubt most of the numpty audience even took notice of that...lol
