Im back in the saddle:)

Well, im back in the saddle after my awful fall in June. I was in hospital for a week (fractured ribs & punctured lung).

I've hacked out 3 times in the past week but last night was the first time i rode in the school, where the accident happened. I had a flatwork lesson & i went really well!! Just walk & trot, i'll have a canter next lesson if im feeling brave

Yay - well done you!

I broke all the ribs down my right side 4 years ago and I know how painful it is and how worrying it is riding in the place where it happened for the first time.

I have now got a slipped disc and hope to ride again next weekend, 6 weeks later.

, its very painful isn't it, especially when you sneeze and cough!!

I cracked my ribs a few years ago. I was not wearing a body protector. Can you tell me if you was wearing a body and still got cracked ribs.Than ks.

Well done and great to hear your better. I was in a car accident last July and fractured my ribs along with some other injuries, so I can sympathise with you. I can start riding in October all going well......it will be 15 months! Hopefully I will remember how to do it
