And we all survived!
Took a group of students from my school on a residential riding holiday and they all had a fantastic time.
Five days riding twice a day and working on a yard, as well as fitting Diva in as she came too, combined with staying in a youth hostel is the most exhausting thing I have ever done!
Two fell off but were fine. Lots of tears on the last day as they had all fallen in love with their ponies and wanted to take them home. Explained that a mini bus and a luggage trailer were not ideal conditions to transport ponies back to South London!
Only real truama was when Diva ate the ivy in her stable and came out in bumps and then reaaranged her bedroom and I came in one morning to find she had unrepaired all the repair patches!
Finished the last day with a sneaky BD competition wich was being held at the venue and got the kids to help me get Diva ready.
She was excellent especially as the rain was torrential! She must have been a nanny in a previous life as she revelled in having kids hanging off her all week.
I won prelim 14 with 69.1% which is my best ever affiliated score and was 3rd in Novice 25 with 63.4%, messed up my simple change so entirely pilot error!
Good fun but so glad to be home. Only two more days at school the I have five weeks and three days off!
