definately they do, remember watching my mare on foal watch last year and she even winnied in her dreams :) soooo cute, not sure what she was dreaming off but the winnie was really muffeld, the others also regularly 'canter' in their dreams in the field - really funny to watch :D
 
Aww there's nothing that makes me smile more then seeing an animal dream :)

I had to sneak up on him to get the pic, he was well away... Finally woke him and he shot up! Think he was rather embarrassed haha.
 
They can fool you though - Dex knew I was there and the dog was running around him - think he was worried I might be going to ask him to do something so was "fake" sleeping

Yes, of course they do :) loved looking at all your sleeping ponies :D

Normally mine is fine with being sprayed with fly repelent, last night... Lots of noise from his stable... Just took me half an hour to catch and spray :D

Clearly in his dreams spray bottles eat ponies :D
 
Definitely. One of mine twitches their hooves but I've never heard him whinney. I've never seen the other 2 dreaming but I'm sure they do. Unfortunately, I've never been able to get a picture or video - really wish I had.
 
It's a rare occasion I see mine snoozing. I resort to tip toeing across the field to snap a pic... God knows what any on lookers think I'm doing.
 
I think the do dream. I've seem my youngster 's legs galloping whilst he's been layed down asleep and he's been making soft neighing noises too.
 
I never have my camera handy.

I even woke up the horses in the paddock next to mine just to check. They were lying parallel in a row. I did wake them up slowly by saying 'are you alright'. The first mare sat up and glared at me.
 
Flibble I did that in the end when he didn't move, I always hate that spilt second seeing them flat out until you see them flinch and then I relax ha :)
