I'm drained...and skint

That's really interesting. Would you mind getting the details for me?

Thank you

He's bright as a button, this morning. Out in field in a hot pink muzzle

Poor Max

Wormcount defo sounds good idea (I use Westgate Labs, find them good, is only about a tenner).

Don't know what else to suggest - maybe the droppings analysis Ouija_Board suggested? It may be changes in the soil or some difference in minerals etc.......his attacks have never been this severe before have they?

Poor Finnus and poor you. I'm really glad to hear that he's ok now, but it must be a dreadful worry. I can sympathise about the being skint on vets bills; I've just managed to rack up another one this week. Horses! Why do they put us through it?

Hope you get to the bottom of this.

xx

Oh poor finn, he is looking so much better in his picture too.

Out of interest my horse had probs with worm damage and I too used Pro-biotics, but also Pre-biotics... worth reading about..as they can enhance the absorbtion of the pro-biotics...I had Pro-biotics from my vet.

Hope you feeling little better today!

Glad he is feeling better!

I had the tests done on Han's poo and it came back with about 8 sheets of A4 with a breakdown of what was causing it... She had to go on Alfa A, off any kind of mix or cereal and a pro-biotic added (I now feed TopSpec Balancer). Touch wood, since this, she has been pretty good. She would get it twice a month, and for a while she would not tolerate haylage (due to the fermentation process), but she is now on that again too

Don't have horses anymore but one of daughter's had colic years ago and was so scary - not sure I could have coped with it happening on a regular basis. I'm so hoping you find out what the underlying cause is and get it sorted. Hugs.
