I'm feeling sad and a bit fed up!

You need a nice daemonic buyer...I just went to look at my TB mare in the field, liked her face, bought her. She had a foal at foot at the time, so I said to the owner to bring her when she wanted to wean the foal.
Owner came, cried, handed horse over.
Job done.

Well I definately would not be selling him one of my horses, he sounds a complete b***ard and would not be touching one of mine, ever.
Hope this poor bloke learns a few lessons on life someday! Feel v. sorry for his girls.
 
What a rude man, even if he offered a blank cheque I couldn't sell a much loved horse to him. You'll sell her easily enough to the right home.
 
I would feel sad and very fed up personally. Just think of the pleasure you might get when you tell him you don't want to sell him J.
 
There are some right ones out there for sure. You are obviously remarkably patient, I would have lost my rag at that sort of attitude.

If I were you, and he phoned me to say he wanted the horse, I would refuse to sell her. Cutting off nose to spite face maybe, but there is no way he'd have any horse of mine! And I would tell him exactly why as well!

The sad thing is, a lot of people are adopting that "suspicious" way because of the amount of lies people do tell when they are selling. Now, I would trust you implicitly but I bet you any money they have been to see horses that people have lied to them about. However, that does not detract from the hideous way he treated you today and I for one would tell him to stick it where the sun don't shine

I think you went out of your way to accomodate the needs of this man and to be perfectly frank he sounds so obnoxious I hope he never finds a horse for his daughters

Not a pleasant day for you or CCJ but at least you should be relieved that no horse of yours will ever end up in his hand, and to me that should bring a smile to your face

i feel sorry for his family, and if he were to ring me back i'd tell him the mare was sold, i have a feeling with arrogant twats like him, selling him the mare would be more trouble than it's worth. good luck with finding the mare a good home.
 
God, I match the feelings of everyone, what a W**KER!!!

I'm currently looking for a new horse but all the horses I have been to view, I have only sat on for a half hour at the most cos I don't want to be labelled a timewaster and I know that people have other things to do apart from watch me ride round on their horse.

You tend to know within the first half hour anyway whether your interested or not.

You have the patience of a saint and I would defo not sell to this person. Can you imagine how he would be with your horse once he owns it if he's like that and he doesn't !!!!!
