I have changed my name from Clementine by the way so I'm not actually "new".

I'm getting all excited because I've just bought a 13.3 pony. She is a Highland and she is arriving on Monday. My daughter and I will share her. I know she sounds tiny but she really takes up your leg and she's been ridden for the past year by a 5' 11'' man so I don't think I'll look too silly on her as I'm only 5' 5''.

Oooh yes I'll join. What a good idea. I am really looking forward to getting on something which I can mount from the ground and which won't involve putting my back out again!

Im 5'5 and i ride a 13.3 welshy and im fine on her!
Im so excited for you! Ponies Rule!!

I've sold one - Ollie sold really quickly and for the full asking price. He's gone off to do dressage with a lovely lady.

Darcy is still being re-schooled and I will then decide if I want to keep him or not. I still haven't ruled out back problems even though he is now going a lot better so he may need more time anyway. Also my OH says he would rather get another sports bike so I will probably sell Darcy if he comes good. Most people's money is on me getting another Highland apparently because they are very addictive!

I've got a 14.1 ArabXWelsh/TB, he's lovely! I only got him last Wednesday so still on cloud 9 at the mo! You must be very excited?! Tell me more?

I adore ponies!!! Most of my horses are ponies, generally around the 14.2hh - 15hh height and I think they are just terrific!!

I find them so much more fun than the big 17.2hh's I used to ride. Have fun with your little ponio!

Another potential member of the adults-on-ponies club - I've just turned 18 so I qualify, and B is 14.2 1/2hh so she just about squeezes in under the limit

I think we are the few sensible people who have realised that we don't have so far to fall off on a pony!

I'll join!

Over 21yrs and have 2 Welsh Sec D's and a Shetland. I adore ponios so you've done the right thing. Am sure yours will be GREAT!!

I am going to go down to the yard tomorrow night to see where she's going to be living. I have decided to take her to my new instructor's yard for a few months so that I can take advantage of a good few lessons before we go solo! I can't stop looking in the Robinsons catalogue and choosing pink stuff!! I've not had a mare for over 6 years so I can finally indulge my pink side again!
