Im going to scream and scream and scream!

what has that post got to do with you weezy?
Was it aimed at you specifically?
The answer is no and oh btw if you don't have a problem with me it is not bloody obvious.
It appears to me that everytime I post anywhere up you pop and post something arguementative back.
I cannot understand why?
What the hell have I done to you?
Absolutely nothing so just lay off will you !

Yes it is open but it's just that most times I post anything you seem to disagree but it the tone in which you reply that annoys me to be honest.
I didn't say that horsey people do have to buy equestrian properties but it is nice when they do. IMO though why buy a house with very good stables only to knock them down? I can understand if they were derelict and a conversion was in order but it just really annoys me when people destroy something which is obviously so nice.
Oh and btw I was a stay at home wifey too until today.

I have just been through the last 200 posts you have made - I have replied to you TWICE in all of those - once to say I wasn't going to watch Troy (the movie) and once in this thread about dealers :

http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/1803586/page/0/fpart/1/vc/1

So I have absolutely NO idea what on earth you are going on about.

Oh, and it is OK for people to have differing views, I just thought the anger in your post was rather disturbing and the POV was, IMVHO, not entirely fair.

I would have to argue that it is not me acting disturbed as my post was not in the least disturbing imo.
IMO though it is quite sad to read through 200 posts of a member, it is not something I would do lol.
I can find better things to do with my time.
Maybe my post was not entirely fair to some people as they perceive it but different people view actions and words very differently.
I did state on my post no offence intended but it seems like you did take offence and posted accordingly.
Maybe you should take a chill pill and count to ten and then read through your posting before you submit.

I did not read every one, I read the ones I knew were posted in threads I had posted in - I did that because I am a conscientious person and wanted to check that there was nothing I had said that could be misconstrued by you or anyone else, and I am perfectly happy that I have never written anything to you that could be classed as *attacking*.

Do remember that tone does not come across in posts, if you chose to read my words with a tone different to the one that I am writing it in then that is not my fault surely!

I was not offended by your post, I simply thought your attitude was unfair to those people who chose not to keep horses. As for taking a chill pill...

Right back on topic......

Piaffe, I'm very sorry to hear your eviction news I really hope you find somewhere soon...fingers crossed for you!

WOW!! Where did that attitude come from?!
crazy.gif

I was going to quote you but couldn't even narrow it down to a few sentences, every single one of your posts on this page are seriously aggressive. I'm gobsmacked....

Aw Piaffe I am so sorry to hear that and I hope you get sorted x
Some people will never ever appreciate what they have. If they wanted to knock down the stables why the hell buy it in the first place? Why not buy some other country residence that does not have stables or just buy a show home on a new build estate?
I would never buy a property like that to destroy its character. I would choose one which suited my needs in the first place rather than demolish perfectly good buildings -which are probably authentic too- just to make the property suit my lifestyle.
Good luck though Piaffe and I hope you find some accommodation soon for your horses

that is aggressive too is it then? pmpl

I totally and utterly agree Sooty it is sheer madness!
To be honest I thought the same that less than a month's notice was too short.
Piaffe did you have an agreement at all with the owner? Was it just verbal or written?
If it is verbal then I'm afraid there is probably nothing you can do about it but if written and there is something in your contract then you may have an issue.
Also I don't know if you know of this website already but here is one where you can post a wanted ad for free.
Just type in what you want, area etc and add a contact number or email addy for people to contact you.
Could be worth a try at this stage to see if anyone gets in touch and offers you somewhere. It may be worth going and having a look if they do.

oh and this too seriously I must live my life looking through rose tinted glasses lol. Oh bugger I'd better go and book an appointment at the opticians then lol

.....ignoring the rather bizarre angry posts.........

Piaffe, I really hope something turns up for you - have you been there long?

Hopefully something even better will turn up, and this will turn out for the best, tis often the way.

We have the opposite problem round here, people from the towns buy a property with land and because their children have had one or two riding lessons immediately dash out and buy unsuitable ponies. We have had 2 or 3 like this in recent years, ask for advice and don't take it etc. Why would anyone think a green 5 year old 16.3 from Ireland would be suitable for a 12 year old who struggled to rise to the trot! Rant over!!

Sorry to hear that Piaffeeeeeee.... It is a shame that the people bought the place to knock it down, but for non horsey people the property must seem fabulous. Big garden etc, must look ideal for them.

I do hope you find somewhere very soon, I know the problems and how hard it is in a situation like this.
You can send me the ginger one first class recorded

Good luck missus x

I think it would be a shame to knock down old buildings, but some stables are an eyesore and no great loss. I do think you have a point though about some peoples' expectations when they move to the countryside. They see it as a huge park for their enjoyment, rather than the outdoor factory that it actually is. We had some new 'executive' houses built in our village, and within months of them being moved into there were complaints to the parish council about horse poo on the road, horses on the road, tractors on the road etc. It really does happen! Often it is only one person out of many, and most people do realise that the countryside is an agricultural environment, but even so the level of some people's stupidity is astonishing.

i dont see why everyone is suddenly attacking cazee34, shes only saying what she feels about the subject.

I partially agree in that it does seem like a complete waste of perfectly good stables and school. And i also dont understand why someone would buy a place like that, only to knock them down and put a garden where the school is? seems totally barmy to me.....

anyways, hope you find somewhere soon piaffe.

Thanks everyone.

I didnt expect to get this of reposnse, I was only whinging!

I can see both sides of the the opinions above, glad I didnt reply last night as I was still angry about the whole situ and would probably have written and not thought.

Thanks for all your pms guys though, I have been so inundated with pms over the last few days, im struggling to keep up (will try though)!

well, at least you have some kind of notice!!!

i got to my yard one night to discover we were all being evicted - some mad phone calls later ended up hacking a few miles down the road to a field.

wasn't going to go with YO if he could do that once!! he will no doubt be doing it again.
