I have been having my hay from farmer F for a few years, he is usually a little more expensive but very nice hay, and he is a nice guy.
My children go to the same school as farmer H's children and they have said why dont I buy hay from them.
Now as I am moving the horses and it will be slightly more expensive where I am going, I thought I would buy from farmer H this year ( but I do like farmer Fs hay).

Farmer F has just phoned to say his hay will be £3.25 a bale but will sell it to me for £3.00 as I am a regular and I buy his meat and got him a lot of new customers.

I have sort of told farmer H that I will have his this year( also £3.00 a bale).
Oh flaming heck.....what shall I do !!!!??????

have some off farmer F and some of farmer H

lol

Go with Farmer F, as he clearly is a very nice guy, and his help and friendship could come in useful.

Make up some random excuse for farmer H.

Crikey your hay is expensive.

I would buy 95% of your hay from farmer F (as you obviously value him) but a small handfull from farmer H as you said you would do plus if you buy a little bit from him he may come in handy if in future you have to buy all of you hay from him he will also value you as a respectable customer that farm F does!

tell farmer f that farmer h has very nice hay at £2 a bale, but if farmer f want to better the price then you will have it off him, just jokeing

This is quite a crisis for me !! ( I thrive on them )
I have had a good chat with farmer F, and he said he doesnt mind what I do and suggested that I didnt buy from farmer H and then stop as he will wonder why. He also said he doesnt mind if I but from farmer H, as his hay may even be better !

My descision..............

Buy hay from farmer F as usual and buy straw from farmer H
