They are supposed to have sent me a combi-riser pad, they've charged me for a combi-riser pad and it says on the order form they've sent me a combi-riser pad...

But they've sent me a pad with no pockets or risers in it. Grrrrrrr.

This is why i hate buying things on the flipping internet, why couldn't one of the four  tack shops near me just have one that I could buy? Because yes, I did drive round them all first to avoid this long-winded mither. Now its going to be the end of next week at the earliest that i get the thing I wanted.

Am I over-reacting? :o It just annoys me.

The person who packed it should have checked it. Hassle them to pay the postage to return it, after all its their mistake. It's annoying and I dislike internet shopping for this reason too.

They are human and they do make mistakes but I found them very apologetic when they made a mistake on my order!

Return it for free and get the correct one sent for free

The point is the flaming waste of time. I wait four days for the wrong thing to arrive, wait for four days for it to be collected, wait another four days for the right thing to arrive, assuming that it is the right thing this time...

Yeah, I'm not saying EC is any worse than other online shopping, I just want what I pay for when I pay for it, not nearly two weeks and a load of fannying about later.

I've just paid for another one so they can send it today, because they can't send the right thing out, which I ordered in the first place, until their mistake arrives back, presumably in case I keep it. Well it would serve them right if I did, they might learn to send out the right thing first time, but really, why would I? I've got loads of saddle pads, I just want the specific one I've ordered.

Well...they just picked the wrong one up. Not like they sent you a bridle or something!

And 4 days to wait from ordering to delivery...that's quite good in my books!

OP - yes it is annoying to order something and not receive the right thing but think you need to calm down ever so slightly!

I dont blame you for being annoyed, if people arent going to check what they are sending out matches the order you might as well just order a lucky dip. Pointless, you want what you ordered I agree.
Its not just the annoyance of waiting for something to arrive (4 days from EC is longer than Ive ever had to wait btw, usually much faster ime) its having the hassle of sorting it out, parcelling it back up, a trip to the post office, and starting waiting all over again for a replacement or a refund.

I had a bridle with only one cheekpiece from another company, it took frickin ages and a lot of hassle to sort out, was a present for someone too, complete nightmare!
