I'm in the mood for arguing -.- HORSE RELATED.

dont ask me im on round 2 the first was so nuts that after he broke for the 3rd time and was turned away he spooked in the field and ripped his own hoof off the second isn't much more of a success after rearing and falling on top of me and had to be off for the last 6 weeks... both crib weave and bolt... ALOT they are spindly and expensive but can run ******ing fast so if your an adrenaline junkie :D .......!!!!!!!

Who needs that??? Get a cob!! You know it makes sense ;) :D:D:D

Who'd want an ex-race horse?

Nasty, spindly things which break at every opportunity, cost a fortune in feed and rugs and then kill you when a nasty looking plastic bag threatens them from a hedge. Blech.

Or has that one been done to death? :D

My ex racer is an irish tb so plenty of bone, currently fully clipped & out in no fill combo (toasty warm) has low cal chaff same as my good doer & balancer. Doesn't spook. :D Also isn't a 'dope on a rope' he's a fantastic forward going ride, still undergoing re-schooling (beach not yet done....i may not be saying the same thing lmao) Love him to bits

I find it really rude and creepy that you've been stalking my horse.....

Cut it out :D

p.s you forgot grumpy, temperamental and fussy :P

That's hilarious!!!! My Thoroughbred doesn't know how to grow hair either but he didn't have stable vices because he was out 24/7. I am in Australia. he is now retired on 24/7 turnout with nothing more than a rug, a shelter and unlimited hay to keep him warm in winter. He is doing well.

TBS,....... Umm well it's a love/hate affair when it comes to them with me.
Love to look at them :)
love to ride them :)
mine is always on 3 legs :(
when he's not on 3 legs iv got to get the air riffle out and take 1 leg out at a time to save my field from being ploughed up :)
when I buy his feed I always add a few extra bag on the order in the hope that one day he may cover his ribs :)
and I know i was stupid enough to buy another tb when the vet gives him a Stoke and calls him by his name everytime she comes to the yard, it's like she sees him alot : /
DAM TB'S

My cob is more expensive than a TB :p I think I might try one next time, it might be a better option, my cobby always has things going wrong. Ringbone, Arthritis (at age 8), Dermatitis, Phobia of any object on the side of the road, unwanted facial hair.......................

Going by my cobalob TB FTW!

Well I love love love 'em!
I love riding them - nothing better
(Oh mine is lame on every leg - so actually the riding bit above is a bit of a lie...... :( )

Well my dad has always had pointers and had a couple he raced on the flat.
one of his ex flat horses hunted until he was 27, he has two oldies now one is 24 the other 22 they hunt do all the common ridings up here and are healthy and sound.
We do have one who is a phsyco if you dont let him out of his stable as soon as you arrive he wanders round the yard like a big dog while everything is going on.

Some of them do need a certain routine but once you get used to them its easy.
Sorry that was not much of an argument.
