I'm looking for a horse to loan, advice please

Tell us what you are looking for and someone might be able to help? What part of the world you are in too?
 
Get in touch with DC's from Pony Clubs in your area and see if they know of anything suitable; put ads in tack shop windows; ask your instructor if they know of anything...

North Yorkshire is a big place, whereabouts?

I find word of mouth is sometimes a good way, and wanted ads, I am not even particularly looking to loan my horse but always check them just in case someone catches my eye.
 
all usual sites, preloved, horsequest, horsemart, horsehunter, adtrader, freeads, gumtree - although not that great, horsestoloan, equineadverts... these are the ones I use daily...

I too am struggling there just doesn't seem to be much about at the min,
I will keep my eye peeled incase I see something suitable....as I am always peeking sites...in the hope one will be there for me.
 
I am in the same position looking for a loan horse and I have found that the websites given are very good. The ones that are best I have found are equine adverts and preloved that I check quite often. It may jalap be worth putting wanted adverts in the free websites is quite good.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I live in a small village close to Whitby and i'm 20.
I've put a few ads on the websites so hopefully i'll be getting horses thrown at me soon aha :D
 
Have you asked around? I have had some cracking horses through word of mouth, that the owners would not have advertised as they wanted them to stay local and to someone they knew.
