did it state in your loan agreement that she could just take him back if she feels or only if she felt it was being mistreated etc??

There was no 'official' loan agreement done unfort (her choice)
not that it would make any difference- if she wanted him back, she'd have him back.. i cant stop that.

No reinbursements from dentist or back lady as they were my choices to do, however farrier reinbursement yes.

Lesson learned

KK im in South wales.

It maybe that the owner does simply want to keep him.

It may be that she has become aware that you have posted his picture on the www and worse, have asked for assessments of his value. If that had been my horse I would be distinctly unimpressed and might well have responded in the same way.

Post pictures of your own horses and comment on them as much as you like, those you ride for others or have on loan are different.

Awwww, what a bummer!

Fancy loaning pony out in the first place, poor thing will be all discombobulated going backwards and forwards.

It is a shame for you, she sounds like a complete timewaster, but I do agree with mother_hen - my mare's up for share and if I came on here and found my sharer had posted pics asking her value, I'd be furious.

That said, it had never occured to me until mother_hen pointed it out so its a lesson for the future for me!

Cripes. I agree.

i agree with you mother hen but i was posting to ask for a price because we both didnt know his value, it wasn't as if i posted for him to be critasized (which he wasn't anyway) infact all the comments were very positive so if she took that badly then i'm confused on what she would find so negative?! If anything the amount of people who said he was lovely would make you proud surely? I know she doesn't use the internet and she's honest enough to tell me if this was the case. I simply think she misses him and wants him back which is just a fact of life sadly. I do still have the tb's number but the lady who has him on loan is very ill (in and out of hospital) so its a waiting game until she's better to allow us to go up again etc.
