Hi, I have been reading on here for a long time, but not had the confidence to post
So here goes.
After a rather long gap (35years ago as a young teenager) I went back to riding last year. I have thoroughly enjoyed it, had lots of lessons, did the maths, convinced my husband and am pleased to say that Syd became mine last November. He is 6yrs, ISH, a lovely boy but has the odd moment of being silly/teenagerish. We are in livery at a great place, have 2 lessons a week (1 group, 1 private) and have help with schooling him. We are so lucky to have the use of 200 acres of private woodland for hacking and have just bought a trailer so can start getting out and about even more.
After a silly fall a while ago where I lost my confidence a bit, but we are going great, with the help of instructors and those at the yard.
My husband also rode when he was younger and has enjoyed riding Syd, also joining the group lessons, so 2 weeks ago a lovely black Irish Draught called Oz joined the family (I tell my husband that he's mine and I'll let him ride him, he has 2 motorbikes so only fair
)
Meet Syd, photo is from when I went to try him and also his very first jumping class at the fun Easter show at our stables, ridden by one of the girls there, he thoroughly enjoyed it
