So winter has officially started with day turnout only now 
.
I got to the yard early and rescued the soggy Arab from his gate-hogging, "OMG I'm going to die if you don't get me in now" behaviour
.
But then there is the awkward moment when the Other Horse is happily grazing with his mates a half mile away.
You only need one person to go and bring one back and they will all come to the gate......
So I sat myself down and WAITED for someone else to turn up rather than walk down the fields in the rain

After 20 minutes I gave in and trudged down there myself
