How cute! There was a Shetland at my old yard that had a box somebody made to let him see out. Mine has a wire mesh door because he definitely wouldn’t be happy if he couldn’t see what was going on.

Our resident Shetland, belonging to the yo, has a U shape piece of his door cut out so he can look out. He’s very shaggy, I’ll get a pic later.

It's not his stable! I'd have a job to cut a hole in it, as it's an iron frame with metal sheet covering it! He had to come in for a while as his friend needed sedating for the farrier - and the gate fronted stables were all occupied!

Oh bless him!

I knew a little pony years ago who had a solid wooden block to put his front feet on so that he could look over the stable door!
