I saw a 10 month old ESS privately advertised. It was bred by someone who is into trialling and they think that this dog won't make the grade. I have left a few messages to ask more details but not really had much response other than a one line email so I have left my number for them to ring me.

If anyone knows of a Springer in the southwest that is around a year old or so and looking for a good working home - let me know

Have you tried asking in here?
web page

I was a member on there for quite a long time - but also quite a long time ago - its a brilliant site, they are all really helpful, but it got invaded by the Americans who were into force fetching etc

No thanks - I've got chickens too! Three very coveted hens. Plus it would cost me a fortune in tape keeping his tail in one piece

Have you been to your local branch of Springers Anonymous yet....

They will help you with this addiction and cure you of the need to fill your house with madness.

You will be offered Schnauzer therapy...... and perhaps in time will be able to choose a more sensible dog to buy.

Good luck...... I really hope that it works

Thanks ucimea - I did have a look at that site and noticed that very sad and worried looking pup - but also notice he's not been docked.

That pup looks lovely...

*whispers* you could always strap his tail up, then he really would be like Ottos's long lost twin
