does anyone else feel that they are surrounded by selfish and inconsiderate people?? :( i moved my trailer today to let one of the girls on my yard practice loading her pony in it. pulled trailer round to front of yard and then went out to tackshop and for some lunch, and came back about 45 minutes later. girl had finished with trailer, said thank you, went to put trailer back in space and there was another trailer in it!!!! apparantly this belongs to someone's friend who had come up for a hack out and would be back soon...as it was i had to leave to get home so had to fiddle about putting my trailer somewhere else (i have a pick up and an equitrek so not the easiest to manouvre)...i really felt like blocking the offending trailer in and going home  i know it sounds like i'm making a big deal out of nothing but same livery blocked my trailer in a few weeks ago and i missed a lesson i had booked because i couldn't get out!! i go out in my trailer a lot (usually 2x per week) so i need to be able to get in and out easily! grr...i would never do this to anyone... i try to be considerate, why is it so hard for other people to do the same?! rant over!

What super arses, could you have a quiet word with the friend of the other trailer owner?
People can be inconsiderate *****!! Hugs for what sounds like an annoying day xxx

I don't know why they're like this, but if you find out, please let me know. Also why its OK for them to leave a trail of hay behind them without sweeping up :( (ever) as they carry a couple of slices from their store about 1/4 mile up to their horse...
Or disappear leaving a massive squitty splat done by their horse literally blocking your stable door from opening until its cleared up, plus hoof trimmings/raspings and bits of hay right outside your stable.

Do you have a board or area at the yard where you can leave a note asking not to be blocked in when you know you will need it out? or stick a sign on the trailer in fairsize letters, they'll have no excuse for missing that as they park infront of it.

Also try sticking a cone or something in your spot next time you have the trailer out. It might not stop anyone, but it'll make them think twice.

:D thanks for the empathy people :D a cone is a good idea! just found out via another friend that she told said person NOT to put trailer there because i was coming back soon and wanted to put trailer away and get off home- that makes it worse, just plain selfish rather than thoughtless! yes i WILL block them in next time, see how they like it!
