2 quick crappy pics of Ben and how relaxed he was... Taken on Wednesday not long after arriving... Chilling in the stable, catching some rays and chowing down on some straw:rolleyes::D...

Pretty boy pics to follow x

Billie what a ridculous comment I don't think people were hoping it would go wrong (that would be horrid,) but were concerned for everyone's safety that it might! There's a massive difference. Anyway OP I was one of those who were concerned but I'm very happy to eat my words and a massive well done!

Well done you:)

Lovely pics:D

Hippona, I'm really looking forward to when the pro ones make it onto the website as we left before they were bought over from the ring. Have to wait till Tuesday though:(

Horseatemymoney - I am wondering when some IT geek will invent a humour interpreter for the computer. This place doesn't get me :)

Two gold stars for QB AND a holographic sticker that says 'GREAT'. Those are reserved for special occasions. When is the full repot out QB?

Brilliant news. You have had a heck of a week but well done for getting through everything

I hope your mum mends well :)

Well done, glad you had a positive experience! (Which with a youngster is the best possible outcome in my opinion!) The only way is up.

xx

I absolutely agree! Every single goal I had with regards to ben and such an outing was achieved this week. In the last 2-3 hrs of thursday he started to look a bit tucked up but to be expected, the weather was hot, there was a lot of comings and goings by then but for the most part he was completely relaxed. As I said, all goals and targets achieved and then some!

I glad you enjoyed it that's all its about .

completely agree, cant believe how much I enjoyed it, hell of a lot of work but so worth it.

So glad your mum is doing well :) You must be exhausted!

Hope you got the pics I emailed xx

Hi, thank you yes they are beautiful :D do I have your permission to share them on here? Am absolutely shattered, have been at work all day, then to see mum, now just got home... hobbled in on feet that have a blister on the middle toe of each foot and are so swollen with heat and 2 days full on walking around that I took my high heels off and couldnt get them back on:o

Now having a white wine :D

Once again it was lovely to meet you and thank you so much for the photos, i love them :D

Thank you, I was just on a mission, every time I thought about how tired i was i just reminded myself 'only 'x' amount of hours until its all over... best make those hours count!' I loved every gruelling minute of it, especially the feel of just schooling him under saddle in the morning in the practice arena... really great experience for both of us.

Mum is tired, but well medicated pain wise so she doesnt even feel the pain from her knackered back for the first time in years. Consultant is doing hip number two in less than a month and she said her new hip felt so much stronger today when she took a few steps in it.

Well done QB. The boy looked lovely!! I know we have had our issues, but........bloody well done. He is a credit to you.

Was wondering how you got on! - great to read your post Queenbee... Ben looks beautiful in your pics, cant wait to see the poshed up ones.

Very inspiring as I have a youngster whom I have never taken to a show yet and now am all keen to do it! :)

Really glad to hear your mum is doing well too.

Thank you so much JAB, Its been such a hard slog, all credit to people who do this regularly and/or for a living! This is the first show (other than last weekend) Ive done for about ten years, and back then I only ever did a couple of small and local ones with my girl. Ive never done a county level show and never thought it possible. Im incredibly proud of myself but mostly of the progress and development of ben these last 2-3 months since coming back from his winter holidays. You spoke in the past, not out of any kind of malice, but on what you felt from what you saw... It actually means a huge deal to hear the above from you :D thank you :D

under that rug he was fluffy, lacking in condition, weight, topline and buttox ;)

He was a bit tucked up in the ring so looked a bit skinnier than he was but my god i can understand that!
