Ok, I know I'm stupid but last week I got sucked into the heavyweight combo for £35 offer.

I've heard reports on here that their rugs are not the best quality and clips always need replacing BUT I thought it would do me for the back end of the winter (ok technically it's spring!) and as a spare.

I've now read on their FB page that not only are they failing to dispatch to waiting customers but these rugs are not even heavyweight!!! Some customers claim they are lighter than most medium weights!

Stupid, stupid, stupid me!

How does this company still get away with trading?!

Rant over. Thanks for listening :-)

Don't feel bad, after vowing never to order from them again, I did and had to leave a paper trail of unanswered emails and fruitless phone calls before finally using their face book page to get a response.

Never again. A good offer is meaningless if you don't actually receive it or have to wait weeks until its spring and you don't need to use rugs anyway.

Ahh noo :( I just ordered one of those! Although I did know it was lighter than a heavyweight as my friend's horses have them, they seemed good rugs and I wanted a new mediumweight so ordered it !

So how long do we wait until we start pestering them about the whereabouts of our rugs?!

They make their offers sound so tempting, it can be hard to resist. I had terrible trouble with their pesky rugs and vowed never to use them again... but once or twice I've nearly given in and tried ordering something cheap (always talked myself out of it in the end though!).

Exactly what happened to me! My new horse is arriving on Thursday so I needed new rugs! I got my lightweights, ordered a KP medium weight and ordered the derby house 'heavyweight' when it arrived it felt quite light to be a heavyweight but I thought maybe it has some special filling (I know, stupid!) but when my (200gram medium weight) KP rug arrived the derby house one felt much, much lighter and I even weighed both of them it was lighter!!!! I got the derby house one out of it's bag searching for a label to find one on the inside to say 200grams!? which is not a heavy weight!!! Grrrrr annoyed.

I'm currently waiting for a refund to be put back into my account, from the last email on the 6th stating it had been done but could take upto 7 days. Previous order came in 4 separate parcels x3 OR boots and 4 likits. I promise not to order from them again....

I would contact TS about that. The goods are not as advertised.

Oh no!!!! I've ordered 2 pairs of jodhs from them recently. Does this mean i'm not gonna receive them??? :(

Just be careful they charge you the right money, did you order the 2 for £35 offer? I kept trying and when I was putting the code in it still was coming up £50. When I ordered snow boots before Xmas they were half price it was only when I checked my credit card statement I saw they had charged me full amount. I phoned and they said they would refund me the difference but it didn't happen until I phoned them a second time.

I seem to be the only one with a good story about them!

I got the rugs at £35 - one heavyweight and one middleweight and I'm delighted with them! :) I also ordered jodhs on the offer and they arrived the next day. Rugs came 2/3 days later but they let me know that they were waiting on them coming.

Mine arrived within a week and is every bit the heavy weight advertised!

I had masses of trouble with their courier who doesnt have a local depo to drop at so i did a wild goose chase for a week to pick it up from the couriers house (?!) but the rug is as described :)

After having very poor service at their shop, I too vowed I would not buy from them again, but time passed and they had a good offfer on the website, so I succumbed. Bought a pair of white breeches from them at half price, despatch date in two days. I tracked the order and it took them three days to pack them  I e-mailed them, got the usual annadine response and yet again re-vowed not to buy from them.

I think they mustve sent you the wrong one then - my middlewieght says 200grams and my heavyweight says 300grams.

The middleweight is nice and light and the heavyweight is much more bulkier.

I've checked bank account now and they charged me right amount :) Yes I used the £35 offer, but they charged me right so at least that's a good sign! But jodhs ordered on Thursday so i'm not stressing yet :)
ETA: Great, I just checked on my account on their website, their awaiting stock from the supplier and estimated date of the items coming into stock is today, but the bl00dy date has changed every day since Friday to say that days date! So it'd just be easier to put ''We don't know when it will be in stock, sorry'' rather than keep changing the date!

Hmm, well I am looking for a light medium! DH are very much for 'its cheap and you might need it at some point' type purchases I feel. I went on their clearance bit and bought several cheap things such as vetwrap, 2 quid headcollars etc, some things came in two days, had things turning up 2 1/2 months later... Was like surprise gifts to myself!

My light/medium weight has lasted me 2 years so far, but I did wait from September until the end of December for my half price medium weight to arrive, and by that time I'd bought another. My medium states 200g and TBH she is toasty in it, but she could have been toasty in it in October, although they did send me a £10 voucher I have yet to use!

I've ordered a few things from them recently and been really pleased. A couple of rugs and jodhpurs. All really nice quality. I only order the
1000denier rugs though as the 600D ones don't seem as sturdy. I have a couple DH rugs now knocking around that have lasted several years. I'm a happy customer.

I too went for this offer. Luckily I went in with attitude that I didn't mind when it arrived as it is really just back up rug, good job as it came about a month or so late. I had, had terrible experiences before when I ordered a half price weatherbeeta stable rug which I did need. Instead they sent me a pony sized cotton sheet outside my ousev(although i was in to sign for it) then left it for me to arrange for it to be picked up before I could have my actual rug. So I arranged for collection, it took them weeks to actually collect it and I finally got the rug I ordered about a month after that. Seriously bad service recently!!!

Never would use them again, ordered a few things, took 2 weeks & only got half the item. Refund & will never go back

I often order from derby house and have never had any problems.
To those who feel their rug is not med/heavy as advertised, did you check the grams before ordering? I never rely on the description I always look for the actual weight before ordering rugs from anywhere.

I can't understand how they are selling goods that they don't even have in stock - I've clicked on a number of things on the website which says "expected delivery to warehouse ....." Most arenot expected for over a week?!
