I'm sooooo bored!!! Any ideas!

HELP!
I had surgery on my right hand three weeks ago and just had the cast off but my paw is still really sore and bruised and the surgeon said to continue to take it easy for two more weeks and I'm going stir crazy!!
Although I have managed to get to the yard everyday and muck out and poo pick one handed, changing rugs is interesting but its been so bloomin cold they've just kept their warm ones on!
But I'm sitting in my house, hubby is away for a month driving around Europe so its just me and the farting spaniels! I suppose its lovely they sit at my feet but they feel the need to share their putrid pongs with me. There is nowt on TV even on Sky, I read everything there is too read and I've run out of websites to trawl, I've eaten more chocolate than cadburys own and put on weight to boot, I've told myself its impossible to do any housework although I have a mountain of ironing I have to be sensible and save myself for my horsey tasks which are much safer, I think!
I would say I'm going slowly mad but I got there many years ago!
HELP!!!!!
Oh yeah, just to add insult to injury its my birthday next Sunday and I'll be all alone, marvelous!!
 
May be an opportunity to shop on ebay, horses always need something new!

I COMPLETELY sympathise! I hand a hand op early March and have only just got back riding etc. I felt like a prisoner and because of the nature of the op I wasn't allowed to handle the horses at all!

I read some good books and watched films I've always meant to see...

What is it about hands though at the moment, my brother had one the week before me, a girl and the yard OH has had one and my BIL is having one shortly too! Madness!
 
I know how you feel, i had to have an operation on my pelvis last year, and had to be off work for 6 months, and couldnt ride for 4 months! I dont know how i coped. But luckily that was before i bought my horsey, I would find that very hard now. I spent most of my time on computer, and watching tv like you. i sort of got use to it after a while. Anyway hope the 2 weeks go quickly for you. xx
 
Ouch that sounds painful! I know where you are comming from on the hubbie front. I'm getting married in August and my OH in Afganagstan with the army for 5 months, including my birthday at the end of the month. Oh and I have 2 dogs who also enjoy a good farting session!!! Hope your sore paw is better soon!!
