I'm Soooooooooo Happy!!!!!

i have FINALLY got myself a wonderful loan horse called Tucker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

he is a real gentleman in the stable and has excellent manners! everyone who has ridden him has literally fallen in love with him as apparently he is very good to ride and i have seen him in lessons and he looks very responsive and truly wonderful!!!!

i am soooooo excited as i am going to ride him tomorrow!

any tips and pointers on loaning overall as this is my first time!

My two tips are 1) make sure you have a contract and read it and make sure you know what is expected of you and 2) it's always nice to keep the owner up to date. I used to email photos every now and then so she could see how she was doing etc but I guess that's up to you.

i didn't get a contract because what i do is i pay weekly for 3 days a week then i do what the YO told me i was allowed to do with my loan horse

is that all right? because at my yard i dont think we use contracts?
