I know this has nothing to do iwth competitions but I normally post in here!!

One of the main vets in Shropshire came today to look at the business we are setting up and all the machinary we are putting in. He had been a little sceptical and wary when I spoke to him on the phone last week so I was really very nervous.

Anyway he has just stayed for 2 hours and been VERY positive and has agreed that we can put on our advertising that we will be qorking with Frynwy Equine CLinics and that they support us.

I know we've still got a long way to go until opening and getting clients in but this has just been a huge confidence boost.

Thanks everyone for letting me go on about it!!

That's great news!

Very exciting!

Was it Dick QT by any chance? Just that I think he's with that practice and he vetted Spider for me as a foal.

Dick QT is my regular vet so he had already written me letters of reference and support.

It was David Jagger who came down, he is semi retired now but very well respected.

I t was just such a boost to have someone like him compliment the quality of the build and the thoroghness (sp!) of our ideas and how proffessionally we presented it to him.

I won't get too excited until we start to be able to get some money coming back from it though!!

Excellent! Are you starting up an equine therapy unit? Can I ask what facilities you are having installed? I did some research ages ago and would be very interested in hearing your experiences!

Good luck - sounds like things are coming together for you.

Hi Halfstep, we are setting up a recuperation and therapy unit.

We will have a hydrotherapy spa, weighbridge, oval horsewalker, high speed treadmill, solariums, equissage. I will also be working with pysios, chiros, massage, dentists, farriers, remedial saddle fitter and we will be vet led/referral.

What sort of research did you do?

Fantastic news, well done. I'm based in Shropshire and use Fyrnwy. All of mine are OK at the moment, but they are so accident prone it's only a matter of time before we have need of your services!
