I'm sorry, but have to share...

I don't usually post our results as I'm sometimes scared of how it might come across, but I am so, so chuffed and proud I've just got to share. After last weekends's unaffiliated dressage result where he won his first elementary with 66% and came second in the novice with 70.4, he has today just gone and won an affiliated novice test with 67%. It was also a summer qualifier which means that I could now do with winning another novice to qualify for the regionals - now that I WANT it to happen it probably never will!!! I cannot tell you all how exctatic I am about this - I was worried that last weekend was a fluke and because it was unaffiliated (even though a listed judge) but today has showed me that my horse is a little star and I think the world of him. Right I'll shut up now and go and hide again!

Thank you both - even more special that he's a little TB ex-racer and we've worked sooo hard with him - not yr typical dressage horse. You're right Thistle - it's really nice when it all comes right!

Ta Pat! I can't get over it - I then got home and had a (in the end) lovely ride on the mare! Perfect day - but also looking forward to next weekend when we're NOT competing and planning on going for a nice long hack (together, for the first time in what seems like years) and chilling out!

Hope you are well? How are the mares doing - is it only Twigs that is due this year?
