Okay, please don't think I'm crazy (I'm a Brit abroad, not a Yankie Doodle
) but I have been sort of thinking about a pet stroller for my dog. Reason being? She is my running companion. She manages four miles at a fast-ish pace, but I would love to get my long runs in at the same time, so pooch could run four miles, and then get to ride in the stroller for another four. Is it insane? Gosh, obviously. But it would be so much more convenient. The ones made for running are quite a bit more expensive, though.
I have seen very elderly dogs in something similar, though it's lower to the ground.
Ahh, see that makes sence.Cant say you wouldnt look a little silly but would be fun for you both.
And for very old dogs that cant walk far, again it makes sense...just I know sooo very many people who bought the dog because they really wanted a baby.....wont do much to stop them buying and ruining more perfectly good dogs
Still on the plus side, if we can get the chavs to get a small pup instead of have a baby.............

Maybe I should slow down the pace, so that she can go for longer. She is such a speed demon, though. We zoomed by this man running the other day, finished at a crossing, and he said, "I cannot tell you how ashamed I am that your little dog runs twice as fast as I do".
I doubt I'll be going through with it; it would just make my running routine a lot easier, that's all.
Where have you lot been LOL - these are regularly used by toy breed exhibitors so that their little darlings don't get their coats dirty - they are just a fancier version of a show trolley - they even sell them in bright pink with crystal droplets or 'leopardskin effect - - the idea came over from America along with designer clothes for dogs and even ......booties ! - won't tell you what I thnik ( unprintable
OMG! One of my pet hates is dogs being carried anyway....THEY HAVE LEGS!!! And now we can push them everywhere so don't even have to be arsed to carry them! Re the jogging excuse
I can't imagine it would be very comfortable to be pushed at a jog for 4 miles in a pram. Can't you take the dog home and run the other 4?
