I don't think the OP is particularly stupid or ignorant, she's just a 14 yo from a non-horsey background.
In my mind, she is fairly typical of her age:)
Brighteyes, you're going to get yourself an infraction :D

Anyway, BSJAShowjumper123, just leave your younger friend to it or advise her to get some lessons with a proper instructor:)

I am inclinded to agree with you. I went through a pitying stage but soon lost that after the ringworm saga. Honestly it was worse than the economy crashing in the UK. Can you imagine if parents reacted like that to their child getting athletes foot or a verucca?!! Having given advice on that one occasion it will not be happening again unless there is proof that she is genuine. Who goes to their tack shop and asks for Canesten etc? I said go to Boots but no lets go to the tack shop. The only thing that made me think maybe it's not a wind-up were the You-Tube videos posted. Could always be a wind-up using those video's I suppose. The other thing that has baffled me, why is a 13yr old girl posting on this website between 1-2am?? If I had a 13 yr old bedtime would be 9.30 at the very latest in school holidays. Back to BSJA123 if you're legit and find it hard to digest the help you've been given then I apologise. You should maybe take notes so you can challenge the people who are helping you so you can learn more. I think the hard thing is some of the things you do/say are just quite unbelievable and beyond the realms of human logic be it coming from a 12 yr old or a 40 yr old!!

right iv asked a question dont like it go away dont answer save your time?
no im not a wind up or any of the things people have said
some of you who comment do you know EVERYTHING? coz the way you post on my threads are like your god and im as thick as anything, look im learning ok? i know the bascis i know how to look after my horse but sometimes there will be things i dont know
and im up 1am coz its school holidays :)

so thanks to people that have helped

I do try and resist but........... if you have horses to look after, whether school holidays or not, it's quite sensible to go to bed a little earlier than 1am. I can't function properly if I go much after 1030pm - maybe that's just because I have shed loads more wrinkles than you, and my poor old body can't cope! :)

How about you write down everything I sent you in the PM where I suggested lots of helpful exercises for you to do with Ebony, and read them to her? If she doesn't listen, she either doesn't understand, hasn't the skills to carry out your instruction or really isn't that bothered. I have to leave it to you to work out which of the above apply. And yes, it is beyond frustrating when you try to help someone who then disregards everything you have suggested.

i can take the hint, i know i have"deserved" my infractions, in other posters eyes but it still has to come from a buttonpusher in the first place, and dont fret, i know you have no time for me so we'll just have to agree to disagree on some things.

for the second and last time, i have NOT called Martlin a snitch, if posters read what is written, it takes a snitch to get an infraction, it could be the bloody man on the moon button pushing!!!!!
