Imaginary horse shopping - just for fun!

This , if he was a mare and i had 20 grand going spare!

That sounds and looks like a @Birker2020 sort of horse, big, bay, sensible and smart!
Exceptiomally cheap for the size and age, I'd query a soundness issue which would probably be evident on video.

Looking at his conformation I'd also query SI issues? He looks like he'd be quite hard to fit a saddle to too.

We're in holiday Friday for a week so no good atm anyway. But thx

Like him

And him although I didn't really want a grey but he seems ideal for me, bit of a school master. But there's the melanoma theory with greys isn't there? I particuarly like the 'never stops'. My Grade B SJ that I bought 30 yrs too early never stopped once in the 2.10yrs I had him.

I also had doubts about this one. Lack of muscle over his back and standing camped under. Glad I am not the only one to spot it.

These 2 for me:

Do you want mine I'll do you a deal 🤪 she's by the same sire but currently looks like a wild mud monster

There is a chstnut Welsh Cob on FB at the moment that I keep going back to - he's very much like a younger version of my retired boy.

I knew I shouldn’t have opened this thread up 😂 currently in limbo land as to whether what we’re trying with Fuzzball will work or if he’ll end up retired. I have no money for a second horse (if I had 2 on livery at current place that would be half my salary gone & sadly Fuzzball & grass don’t get on & total lack of local land to rent!) but he is rather lush & the kind of thing I’d look for if I had the money

He’d be fun to fit a saddle too 😜
Because it's a virtual saddle, bought with virtual money, it would be no problem!

This thread is influencing my dreams, btw. Last night, I dreamt that I spent £17k (not my actual horse buying budget, unless I win the lottery that I don't actually enter) and bought a dun 4 year old called Frank. He was adorable, but not the ideal horse for a first time horse owner who really doesn't want a youngster.

Today's pick is a ride and drive pair. (I will be imagining a coachman and groom to assist me, obviously)

"Pair of Bay KWPN geldings.
Basil & Bertie. 16.1hh. Ride & Drive. These outstanding horses have it all. Fabulous good looks, Style, Presence, Look at me wow factor. Impeccable manners. Well behaved in traffic, stable, farrier, transport. Driven by elderly OAP. Ridden by a younger OAP. Sadly for sale due to a change in circumstances."
