OK so he measured so should be coming home on sunday, you do have to use your imagination with this boy as he isnt fit or ready buy any stretch. But in the rough what do you think

Thank you, he isnt even hogged yet love him but me all over i'm a sucker for a friendly face.
Just to make it more interesting this boy has no papers so what breeding do we think he has - i will say he floats like a warmblood not that that means anything much these days!
I will tell you all in a little while what breed a professional thought he was

his legs (except he lacks feather) and face have a welsh look to them, so maybe some welsh in there somewhere??? he's got a very sturdy body and neck (can see a shade of suffolk punch in there but i know i will be barking crazy saying that).

Oh ...there he is...ignore me....

Lovely looking lad...I am crap at breeds but his head looks possibly like a suffolk punch ( runs off before anyone can laugh at my crap breed identifying....I told you before....shetlands and arabs and thats it for me

fat and flabby but has a good framework to work on

. I like him. He looks like he has a good shoulder but photo doesnt help

. Ribs well sprung and good depth of chest. Good solid limbs and feet look okay but need blacksmith. Neck looks good and head and eye look honest. You have an eye for them

. Whats his name etc????

Welsh or conny x cob x warmblood/ISH

or if I was feeling especially bashful I could go for a suffolk punch x warmblood/TB !

He's got a very show cob look about him in the body, with a more native head

OK so he is 5yrs 154cm will be hogged and trimmed and will be hw showcob he moves like a dream very light on his feet and forward through his shoulder no knee action at all more like a little show pony, when he can muster up the energy that is.
He will be on a get fit regime for the next 3 months with chilled out hacks (actually these consist of 15-20degree gradient hills) and some schooling in there. He will come out early next season as a novice hw then from may onwards open hoys/ri hw cob classes

Will leave it a bit longer for the breed, this is interesting reading!!!!

You cant really tell from the picture but he is absolutely huge, made my taffy look like a showpony. He has measured in at 154 but i honestly thought he would struggly to measure in at 158 (hence the delay in getting him confirmed as mine)

Out of a warmblood mare by a suffolk punch stallion

So booBW you should be bashful and poppymoo/horseywelsh your not mad at all!!!

Fihunt - I'm disappointed I would never buy anything with welsh in it, that would be so mean of me when i just got rid of the Taffster. However his new mum is obsessed with him and is in danger of giving him mournge "Can horses get mournge?"

ooh interesting:

my bets were going to be welshxid
or suffolk x tb

I have often thought that suffolks have quite nativey ponyish heads. and he looks to be pretty wide in front!
