My horse earlier in the year had been diagnosed with a Distal Impar Ligament injury with thickening/inflammation.
The horse (luckily) was only very mildly lame on one rein on a circle. Sound on the other rein and in straight lines. We decided to turn him away as he is young and very talented and *touch wood* appears to have improved.
I was just after any experience on anyone with impar ligament injuries and how bad the injury was, the treatment, prognosis and outcome
Thanks!
