We've been trying to organise an evening where a few of us can go to a local cross-country course for a while. For the last fortnight the weather's been awful and the ground's been too wet. Then, hurrah, sunshine and we book up for Monday evening.
I turned Domino out after his breakfast for a few hours thinking I'd treat him to a sparkling clean stable. Out came the mats, the floors were power washed, cobwebs removed from the rafters, the works. Thinking I'll give him a bath and little pampering this afternoon after our schooling. So you can imagine the words I was using when I brought him in this afternoon and he's cast a shoe.
Ugh! Hopefully the farrier can come out Monday morning. Fingers crossed :/
