Can I ask everyone to sign this petition and share on other groups. Unfortunately unscrupulous breeders are everywhere and the KC need to take action. The owner of the dog who is responsible for this petition bought their pup from a well known breeder and show judge, this has had enormous impact on a breed which is classed as vulnerable and could have serious repercussions for years to come.

Most European breed registries already do this as a matter of course, it's a no brainer.

Can't expect they UK Kennel Club to do anything as obvious as this though CC. The breeder whose actions caused this petition to be started doesn't even appear to have any shame about blatantly falsifying papers, and in a vulnerable breed with a small gene pool too.

This is why I do not buy the whole "KC approved breeder" thing. The breeder of my girl is not KC approved and she does not want to be, but she DNA tests all her pups, hip/elbow scores, eye tests and various other things which I can't remember right now.
