I'm sure lots of you have noticed recently that there have been oddly-titled threads cropping up here in NL, usually posted by a new user and containing a link. More often than not, the quality of the English is poor and the grammar is often incorrect. Most importantly: the content of these threads is never equine related.

Just so we are all aware: do not click on links posted by these users. They may just be advertising, but they may also link you to malicious software that could harm your computer.

If in doubt, do not click.

I've clicked on these twice and nothing had happened to mine, that's not to say it won't in the future so I ignore them now.

I'm bumping this back to the top. I reported the one this morning, and this isn't the only site they are targeting. I think it's more than advertising, and some of the posts are quite explicit in nature.

Yeah, I would just hate for someone to click on a link and get infected, it's safer to avoid clicking!
