important visitor information..... there might be horses at HOYS!

Sounds funny on the face of it but.....A few years ago the fiance of a girl I knew from a yard in Kent died at Olympia from an asthma attack - he was used to being around horses through his girlfriend but not in a confined indoor arena such as Olympia. Certainly wasn't funny. :( I wonder if this sort of warning stems from this tragic event. People with mild horse allergies perhaps don't understand how much worse they can be in such an environment.

well there goes my lighthearted Friday night post then...

I'm afraid the word predominant tickled me, it still does,.. given the title of the show and I don't think it would make any difference to whether people with asthma/allergies decided to attend or not. I imagine for some the surfaces would cause as much trouble as the horses but no mention of them/or the fact the area is confined for instance.

Sorree... But it was so tragic it sticks in my mind. And yes I agree and really it's an ahole covering gesture rather than any use just like peanut butter contains peanuts :)

Well half the country don't know how to use their brains so health and safety have to state the obvious sometimes!
