Does anyone know roughly how much to import a horse from France? Also any particular companies would recommend to do it?

It varies alot and depends on whether you're happy to wait for a lorry to fill up or want them brought over for a specific date. I have 2 coming over from the UK this month so there will be a lorry going back from Brittany in about 2 weeks. If you want details please feel free to PM me.
I will also be happy to tell you who to avoid like the plague, I've had lots of ponies brought over and the very varying standards (as well as prices) is shocking, sadly.

Ask in the overseas forum page... there are a few on there that had took their horses from the UK to France... Ive only done UK-Spain (£700-900)

Prices vary but can go from about 400 pounds shared load upwards (also depends on where in France and where in the UK).

I imported 11 horses from france it was 1000 for two I used Loc who I may add were excellent. As these horses were nearly all unhandled been dumped in a field before I bought them then two months after I got them put on a lorry shipped to uk. All arrived safely if not a bit shell shocked.
