Imprint shoes, cost?

Just wondering those who may have used/had or enquired about imprint shoes for their neds; how did you find cost?

Mine have been around £140 - £170 a pair. But my farrier has to order two pairs at a time because my girls feet are odd, so charges a bit more to reflect this. I am going to have them on one more time after this and then try to get my mare back to barefoot with boots and pads as cannot keep paying for imprints.

I paid £120.00 a pair 3 years ago. She had them fitted every 3weeks over 8months.

See, I have been quoted 200 for a pair inc gel pads... I wasn't sure if that was on the steep side?... Too late now as they're going on tomorrow but just curious

I pay £120 a pair, but they are worth every penny, my mare is now in the muddy fields in the day in them and they last 6 weeks
