I had a c-section 6 months ago and I had over a year off riding before that.* I'm struggling lately to be strong in my core and find myself tipping forward easily.* Any tips?
Those huge inflatable exercise balls - initially just sitting on it and learning to balance yourself with your core muscles, and eventually doing simple exercise on it.
Pilates. I used to have a bad back but haven't had pain since I started Pilates a couple of years ago. Its because of the core strength and the stretching exercises. Be sure to check the qualifications of the instructor and that the class isn't too big. If the class is too big you won't get enough individual attention.
You could ring up in advance and explain about the c section and ask what class would be suitable.
