Hi
I have a very nice warmblood x TB/ID 7 yr old who moves very well.
I have managed through time to improve her trot so she is more uphill and more in self carriage.
I wondered if anyone had any exercises which would improve her lift more as my trainer says she has so much more yet to come.
She is still very stiff on her right side and tries to hang on the right rein when going clockwise so she's not very straight yet - she does'nt like to bring her right hind under her as much as the left hind.
Any tips please.
Thanks

Before thinking of forcing the paces to improve, I'd crack the straightness. I'm a firm believer that you cant 'improve' a gait. You can help the horse to move more freely and with better balance and develop its natural expression but beyond that, I'm sceptical as to how much you can push/pull without losing other fundamentals

other options include counter canter, risen poles and maybe looking at whether you are giving an even pressure of contact throughout your hands and body, Try to work on reducing the resistance through the contact and confirm why she is not coming through from behind on that side?
Hope that helps
