In acreage terms...

How big is a 20/40m arena in terms of acreage?
Another post just got me thinking - I'm totally useless at guessing sizes/acres!
Anyone know?

Right....1 acre is 4046 square metres so you need to subtract 60x40 sm from that......

It was the post about having a 3 acre field that got me thinking - how much of the land would be taken up with the arena and stable yard

60 x 20 arena = 1,200 sq m
Allowing for boarding, fencing and path to it and entrance, it would take one third of an acre.
