The sad thing is it isn't just horses, it is dogs and other animals too. It breaks my heart to see a dog crippled with arthritis hobbling along clearly in pain. I wish people would see past their own selfishness and Do The Right Thing, regardless of how sad it is for its owner to say goodbye.
