So I was thinking (I was bored) in an ideal world, what saddles would you have?

Bare in mind an unlimited budget etc..
From an eventers point of view I was thinking:

-A Fairfax Monoflap dressage saddle, I love how they are designed with the horse in mind (or at least they say they are)

-A fairfax jumping saddle, for the same reasons. I know they are more showjumping saddles but what do you think for xc too?

And some sort of jumping/GP saddle for hacking/hunting etc. I wouldnt want to hunt in a close contact saddle as I know they can hurt the horses backs as they arent designed to be worn for a long time. I like Bates saddles so maybe one of them?

Any reviews/ better suggestions are more than welcome :)

I was kind of messing about at the time but I am considering investing in the future if all goes to plan!

oooooh! the most expencive one i could find! with diamonds along every edge :D

and my name on the back of it.....in diamonds ;)

really.... id go for an older bates innova every time, best saddle ive ever had and the horse loved it!

I love Bates saddles so much, we currently have the Caprilli and I cant even begin to describe my love for it! Im interested to see what other people have to say too :)

Our three have Bates, two Bates Caprilli jumping saddles and one Caprilli GP. Even with all the money in the world I wouldn't have anything different. They are amazingly comfortable, the horses go brilliantly in them and even when I allow mine to get abit tatty it still looks brand new after a quick scrub!

I love my kieffer so much id just buy a brand new version. Or maybe id get one custom made for my horse. Or both lol but I think I'd get a fancy dressage saddle too and a heather moffett saddle to try cos I've seen the vids on YouTube and it looks good!
