There's a show nearby in a couple of months, and they have an in-hand class for hunter types, which I'd quite like to take Dylan into.

Anyone know what the dress code for me and him would be?

Hacking jacet, shirt and tie. Plain beige coloured trousers and black or brown boots. Plenty of people wear jods and long boots.
Hat, gloves and NO earrings!!
Ponio in plain bridle (no colourful browbands etc.)

I hope that is all correct. I groom at shows and we do so many classes it is hard to remember what dress is correct for what!

Rather than write it out - something like this - traditionals are turned out as if for a hunter class but with hair left natural rather than plaited and pulled.

If your horse has dark legs, then wear light coloured trousers, ie beige. You can also wear a trilby though most people with hunters tend to use a hard hat.
