I am thinking of entering my grey Thoroughbred X Connemara into the in hand prettiest mare at a show next month. We've never done in hand so what usually happens during a prettiest mare class?

Usually just walk around the arena with the other competitors and then judge will probably ask you all the turn in and stand while she looks at each horse and makes her decision. Not much to it really. Some judges wont need to see them trot up or anything for this. Its really a good novelty class for young ones to have a go at.
