Hi everyone

I’m hoping to have a bash at in-hand showing next month. Never done it before so I’m looking for some advice.
This will be at a local show so I’m wondering what to wear on my bottom half are trousers or jodhpurs best. Also what material do you go for with the trousers. I’ve read I’ll need dark ones as my pony has white legs!
Thanks

Trousers for In hand showing, if the horse has front leg socks a dark colour is best (I wear navy or burgundy cords or chino type) and if it has dark front legs beige/light tan coloured trousers. I usually get a chino type for the light trousers. It’s so your legs and horses legs don’t blend into one when your showing. I usually pick them up cheap from eBay.

I have a pair of beige straight cut jean type trousers from Cotton traders (my horse has dark legs).
Good luck and most importantly, make sure you have fun!
