Hi, I've done a few In-Hand Shows last year and surprisingly come in the ribbons most of the time however not a lot of reds. Any one got any tips on any little tricks which will help me?
Thank you for any suggestions!

How do I add a picture on here?
I will be showing a 7 year old cob x, skewbald mare. She came quite high in prettiest mare - big tail and mane

Read up on what you can enter! Classes for specific breeds (e.g. M&M, Native, Foreign) or colours e.g. coloureds, bays etc. For in-hand showing, the judge is looking for a horse or pony that is carrying the right amount of weight, has a shiny coat, healthy hooves, and a bright eye :)

pop on a picture so we can give some advice on turnout, trimming etc :)

other tips: don't let your horse fall asleep in the ring, practice trotting straight out of walk so there's no dragging the horse along, practice square halts and getting your horse to prick their ears when the judge is looking over your horse (sweet wrappers often do the job)

sorry- forgot to add, upload your picture onto photobucket, then copy the [/IMG] code next to it add paste it here

upload picture to photobucket account and then copy the link to here. Links are usually over to the right hand side in a little box!
