Hi everyone

So i am going to clip my horse this week, and at first i was going to do a blanket clip. She is work 5 or 6 times a week, in the field during the day and stabled at night, we have plenty of rugs! The only thing is, i am taking her to her first ever show in November, hence why we are just going to do a few in hand classes. It is quite a local show, so nothing major, but i just wondered if a blanket clip would be ok or a hunter clip be better?

Thanks:confused:

Personaly I wouldnt clip at all if you are doing in hand showing, just keep rugged. Second alternative is clip right out.
My pet hate is blanket/chaser clips on an in hand horse.
Or show under saddle, do a novice class, and in which case any clip goes.

Clip her for what suits you and the ridden work.

Providing it's done well, it won't make any difference to your showing.

Think im going to do a blanket, its only a local show and we r doing inhand as she has never been to a show in her life!its just for the experience and see how she reacts more than anything. She isnt push button so we need to work on a lot before doing any ridden shows!
