I guess unaffiliated …
What classes would be available for a pretty 14.2hh Tobiano light cob type/ Welsh ?
Know nothing about showing so what is the format ?

Have you any local riding clubs? Pop along to a riding club show to watch (or bigger shows as the classes are run in the same format at both) it will give you a good idea of what is expected.

At local level you could put your pony in the coloured class and then depending on build possibly the cob type class or if finer riding horse/pony and part bred m&m class. Then you have fun classes like handsome gelding, prettiest mare etc etc. It's more about having a nice day out and coming home with a frilly at riding club level.
