How lovely, thank you so much for sharing. I feel strongly that they should be remembered and always put a poppy on Ringo's bridle around rememberance Sunday.

Superb, I'm ex military, we used to have a mounted troop ( before cuts!!!) the bravery of these animals and the men who cared and looked after them must be honoured. I cannot and do not want to imagine the absolute hell they all went through. It brings goose bumps every time I think of them.
Please remember them all and the sacrifice they made so we can live as we do.
