Sounds stupid but try to get the most out of the weekend off yard duties as it will be full on when he gets back. Get a long bath and have some good lie ins if you can x
 
you forgot to say how shiny he is !!! apart from the obvious he is gorgeous and looking very very happy and healthy and certainly standing well on the leg !!

Have been surgically cleaning his stable and mats today, with the help of my amazing lovely boyf :D

Thinking of changing from straw to shavings when he comes home as he will be on box rest and shavings will be easier to keep clean I think?

I am so pleased for the good news, he is such a cracking lad..... I have him saved on my fave horse pics - the one you took of him in his new pinky rug. Such a classic !

You must be exhausted - get the wine out tonight. :)
 
Thanks for the update on Buddy, what a sweetie he is. Here is to his recovery hope all continues to go well. Try and stay positive easier said than done, he looks like a fighter to me bless him x
 
Thank you so much guys, all the well wishes and hugs are much appreciated. Can not wait to get him home, going to be a very strange weekend with no horsing to do!!! :( may tidy out the tack room! :o

He did look quite chilled at the vets though so try not to worry too much - easier said than done I know!
 
Big hugs to you and to Buddy.. i'm sure hes in the best of hands. although it will seem so strange handing over our horses care to strangers they really are in good care.. make the most of the lie ins and prepare yourself for when the big lad is ready to come home

More vibes for you both. It will be hard not seeing Buds over the weekend, but he is in the best possible place. Sort that tack room girl, it'll keep your mind busy ! xx
